Lesspaper Hosting has been developed as a high-level yet cost-effective retrieval solution to complement our document scanning services. As digital technology has progressed, our Clients have demanded innovative solutions to save more time and money, as well as the requirement to share data across departments, offices and even continents.

Our Lesspaper Hosting service allows secure 24/7 global access to your paperwork. The software, images and database are stored centrally on our servers, allowing remote access from any desktop through a web-browser environment. Furthermore, no software installation is required at the Client site, and user training is minimal.

Whether you scan your documents in-house or use outsourced scanning services, any authorised user can log in and view their documents on a PC, regardless of location.  If you currently have a library of CDs containing scanned images, or utilise document management software, MTL Document Services can migrate the images and metadata directly into Lesspaper Hosting.

It is not only a cost-effective solution, but allows greater functionality than equivalent priced solutions. Features include comprehensive search facility, note annotation, indexing module and a full audit trail to log activity. The Lesspaper solution is also highly customisable to address each Client.

Our high volume scanning section can convert any images from paper or microfilm. MTL Document Services operates a national collection service, and manages a post room facility at the Head Office. Upon receipt, all documents are scanned, indexed and uploaded onto the Lesspaper Hosting system within an agreed timescale. Alternatively, the Client may perform the scanning operation in-house and securely upload the images onto the fully automated system.

We also supply Lesspaper Hosting as a Client server installation allowing authorised users immediate access to images from any PC in the organisation. MTL Document Services has developed this offline version of the product to link directly into a number of third party software applications. The software solution has been successfully installed at a number of Clients in diverse sectors such as Finance, Higher Education and Public Authorities.
