Overview
CD Retrieve is a simple to use, no charge document viewer for accessing scanned images. It allows the user to perform a search for any document stored in a database, using pre-defined index fields.

A hit-list is presented with items matching the search criteria. The user simply double clicks on the desired record and the scanned image is presented in a separate viewing screen. This screen has a variety of functions including zoom, rotate and email.

Typical Environment
MTL Document Services deploy CD Retrieve as an entry-level document imaging software. It's typical environment is for small numbers of users (e.g. departmental level), or where access rates to scanned images are lower. Typically, users will load a CD onto their local PC and search direct from it.

CD Retrieve is not meant to be a full document management software. Users cannot scan documents into the system, or set up workflows. Its purpose is to provide easy access to scanned images stored on CD. However, it is possible to direct the information from a CD to a network path, allowing multi-user access. If you require a more flexible document management software please refer to the IMSCAN range of software products.
