MTL Document Services have been microfilming every type of business record from invoices to contract files to medical records since 1977. We have converted literally hundreds of millions of pages from paper to film, and despite a general shift towards scanning, demand for our microfilming services remains high.

All converted images are preserved for in excess of 100 years using Kodak microfilm and processing chemistry. As a Kodak Document Conversion Centre (DCC), all operations are strictly monitored as part of our ISO9001:2000, guaranteeing total quality assurance at all times.

Microfilmed documents can be presented to the customer in all conventional formats; rollfilm, cartridge, jacket and aperture card. We also offer high volume duplication of all formats to guarantee total security of master copies.

MTL Document Services also specialise in 35mm microfilming of engineering drawings and newspapers, and are seen as an ideal trade partner. We currently undertake 35mm services for a number of bureaux within the industry.

The permanence of images held on microfilm suits documents having a long retention time, and where retrieval rates are expected to be minimal.

As microfilm is eye-readable and technologically independent, it cannot become obsolescent.

Microfilm Consumables

MTL Document Services stock toner cartridges for a wide range of microfilm reader printers, including laser cartridges for digital machines. Cartridges are sent by courier direct to the customer, typically for receipt within 72 hours.
